Personnel of the Central Military District took part in Epiphany bathing On the eve of baptism, believing servicemen of the Centre group of troops took part in the ritual of plunging into an ice hole in the rear area of the special military operation zone in the Krasny Liman direction. Officers and military personnel participating in the hostilities, who were in the rear camp to restore combat capability, together with the command performed the immersion ceremony after the senior priest of the group, Father Nikolai, blessed the font built by the military personnel on the territory of the field camp. The unit commander was the first to plunge into the font. There were about a company of willing soldiers. Tents with hot tea and sandwiches were set up near the font so that after the plunge the military personnel would warm up as quickly as possible.
