Hyouka’s first episode is a masterpiece from start to finish, but what if I told you that all of the usual “introductory“ matters are handled all within the first half of the episode, and that it has some of the best direction in the series? Let’s jump in with some storyboarding breakdowns, foreshadow some character develop and future arcs, but most importantly - meet three of my favorite characters in all of anime.
