Learn from Legends: Master Roshi: “Always remember these words: Work hard! Study well! And eat and sleep plenty. That is the way! We must master the art of peace in addition to the art of war!“ You’ve seen his punishing padwork with his students in the viral videos on social media. You’ve gawked at the bold display of 'sak yant' tattoos across his chest and back, and feel intimidated. As scary as he may look in the ring, Ajarn Gae is a dedicated Muay Thai trainer who cares about the improvement of the fighters under his charge. In this interview, you get to see a side of Ajarn Gae that you may not have seen before. He shares intimate stories of his life, and talks about the disappointment of his shattered childhood dreams that turned him into monkhood for 10 years. One thing that comes through is that Ajarn Gae absolutely LOVES Muay Thai. He loved fighting, he loves teaching it, he wants to make his students strong. When his students fight in the ring, he says, “my heart fight together.” Will you be his next Goku and Krillin?... ----------------------------------- This project is part of a documentary series started by Angie, a Muay Thai enthusiast based in Singapore.
