For more: The Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) began 10 years ago with the transportation and energy infrastructure that make up the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor among the first projects to break ground. Ten years on and the BRI boasts a standard gauge railway in Kenya, the expanded Piraeus port in Greece, a new Egyptian capital, and nuclear, solar and hydroelectric power stations in Argentina. In our special series “Vision into Reality,“ CGTN along with Greece's Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) and Argentina's Telam Global speak to scholars from all over the globe to evaluate the BRI so far and gauge its future prospects.
