NYPD Cop Shoots at Man Wearing a Black Ski-Mask and Armed With a Gun

* (Disclaimer: This video content is intended for educational and informational purposes only) * The Bronx, NY — On Saturday, May 21, 2022, at approximately 8:03 PM, in front of 1420 Noble Avenue, Bronx, Police Officer Handriel Torres, assigned to the 43rd Precinct, discharged four shots from his service firearm during a confrontation with an armed subject, later identified as George Rivera, a 60-year-old male. During the confrontation, Rivera was armed with a loaded Taurus TCP .380 Caliber firearm which he previously fired at a civilian. The firearm was recovered at the scene of the incident during the investigation. On Saturday, May 21, 2022, at approximately 7:40 PM, in front of 1413 Noble Avenue, Bronx, Rivera was involved in a verbal dispute with a male civilian, which later escalated into a physical fight between the two men.
