Melody of One

November's Full Moon can sometimes be called the Frost or the Mourning Moon. When I think of frost I think of being far north in Jukkasjärvi. I was there to collaborate with the wonderful opera singer Carina Henriksson at the Ice Hotel. That Ice Hotel melted back into the mighty Torne River, but another beauty will rise again through a few hundred tonnes of ice and snow borrowed from the river each winter. So here is a little glimpse of the place. Rough and raw like the song I was inspired to write while there. Just me, kalimba,and maybe a tiny bit of Northern magic.
