Knight Rider 2000 and Knight Rider 2010. There's More Than One Way to Skin a KITT

Knight Rider 2000 (1991) saw David Hasselhoff return as Michael Knight, retrofitting KITT into his 57 Chevvy, before handing over to Shawn McCormick (Susan Norman). Also stars Mitch Pileggi, Edward Mulhare, and Carmen Argenziano. That didn't get picked up as a series so a different team tried again with Knight Rider 2010 (1994). In a sorta futuristic world of wastelands and virtual reality, some stuff with only a vague connection to Knight Rider happens in a fun science fiction TV movie that in no way feels like Knight Rider.
