In the 2000s Russia and Russian youth had their own fashions on all sorts of levels independent and often quite different to western “trends“ . I would not say I liked all of it personally but it showed independence from globalist constructed fashion trends. Now among the under 30s, that independence has disappeared with much more serious underlying consequences for the future of Russia and the world and just clothing and hairstyle trends.
