Royal Albatross ~ OGK & BOK Sing A Duet Skycall! OGK Defends Territory & Albies Soaring

It is magical to watch the albatross gliding effortlessly in the sky at Taiaroa Head! OGK was seen soaring from the RAC observatory this afternoon along with GO and other returning albatross (the video presentation can be seen from a live broadcast in the Royal Cam Albatross Group New Zealand ) OGK later will land and immediately BOK will land right after him! BOK is a newly banded albie this season so will be looking for a mate. BOK and OGK both sing a duet skycall as a greeting! A third albie touches down and OGK will chase off and BOK as well before he takes off over the sea. We are awaiting anxiously the arrival of YRK so they can kick off their new season!
