Bill Evans Trio, Alice in Wonderland: Transcription (piano, bass, drums)

This is my transcription of the Bill Evans Trio performance of “Alice in Wonderland“ (take 2) from Live at the Village Vanguard. Bill Evans, piano; Scott LaFaro, bass; Paul Motian, drums. While most transcriptions focus on the pianist’s right hand line, this one includes the left hand voicings, bass part, and drum part. This performance demonstrates the profound rhythmic and metric fluidity of this trio, along with a near-telepathic level of interaction and instantaneous communication.
