City suffered defeat at Blackburn Rovers despite taking the lead through Jamie Paterson. The attacker’s header from Tommy Rowe’s cross put the Robins in front but Corry Evans levelled the scores when his curling ball deep into the area found its way into the far corner, with Tosin Adarabioyo and Adam Armstrong’s second half strikes taking the game away from Lee Johnson’s side. The defeat puts City down to ninth place, still just two points off the play-offs with eight games of the campaign remaining.
