Michael Jackson competes in the Rock n' Roll Sports Classic

IG || (I had to re-upload this because I missed the swimming clip!) The Jacksons (Michael, Jackie, Tito, Marlon, Randy, LaToya, Janet) participated in the Rock 'n' Roll Sports Classic (May 3rd, 1978), an ABC special that pitted music stars against one another in a series of athletic events. Michael participated in the men's 60-meter dash (placing 6th / eight) and in the swim relay and the tug o' war, with his team winning each of these events, as well as the overall competition. Participants included: Boston, The Commodores, ELO, Gladys Knight and the Pips, The Jacksons, Earth, Wind & Fire, The Runaways, Seals & Crofts, Marilyn McCoo & Billy Davis, Jr., Rod Stewart, The Runaways, Kenny Loggins, Tanya Tucker, and Leif Garrett.
