Hundreds of strikers protested at Munich airport on Friday, forcing the country’s second largest air travel hub to cancel all flights for the day. Protesters demanded pay increases of at least 10.5%. Similar actions took place at six other airports across the country: Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Bremen, Hamburg, Hanover and Dortmund. The strikes were estimated to ground more than 2,300 flights in Germany and internationally, with more than 295,000 passengers affected according to the German Airports Association. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Freedom over censorship, truth over narrative.
