Needle Felted Red Panda The Process | Realistic Needle Felted Animals Series

Would you like to discover how you might needle felt a red panda? This photo montage of my red panda wool sculpture reveals the stages of how I created her so you can understand the process. Like with many of my needle felted animals I like to create them to be as realistic as possible. This panda’s lovely fur coat is from attaching layers of long fibres with the long fur technique. You can see more about how I do that here : I hope this will give you plenty of ideas of how you might start. I also show you the end result by taking her on an indoor and outdoor (garden) photoshoot once completed. It is set to a beautiful piece of music called ’rain’ that will hopefully inspire you.
