The film starts in a rather brutal with the slaughter of a pig in front of the stone wall of an old farmhouse. All under the eyes of children, Nana, 4 years old, who lives with his mother in an isolated house in the forest. Until one day, coming home from school, she finds the house empty. This short film tells the survival of Nana alone in her house. The interest is there in the slurry, attitudes and gestures of the little girl. Leaving open a slight mystery about the fate of the mother, the director is so happy to shoot Nana playing, reading, trying to write and cook in a contemplative film between fiction and documentary, without music, without artifice, without light, without special effects.
