It became a hit in England (#10), in the Netherlands (#7) and Belgium (#12). ’It’s Over’ is about a lover leaving and not coming back. The single was recorded at the time both brothers Boon and Phil Gould had decided to leave the band. Level 42 was at this time Mark King (bass/vocals) and Mike Lindup (keyboards).
