I'm continuing to experiment with PCB layouts and routing. While I am using auto routing for some quick tests, I will eventually shift to manual routing. In this video, I consider breaking out the design into three to four smaller, simpler PCBs. I am considering smaller PCBs to simplify routing and reduce the risk of large, failed PCBs (costly). I posted some PCB images to the following blog post, including a start to a backplane and four cards (CPU, Decode, ROM RAM Shadow, IO).
