Mitch Dobrowner is an American landscape photographer who grew up on Long Island, NY. His father gave him an old Argus rangefinder to fool around with in his late teens. Dobrowner quickly became addicted to photography after doing some research and seeing images of Minor White and Ansel Adams. Years later, in early 2005 Mitch picked up his camera after being inspired by his wife, children and friends. He has since been on a mission to create images that help evoke how he sees our amazing planet. His photos of storms and desert land have won numerous awards, including the Irs d’Or in the Sony World Photography Awards he picked up in 2012 thanks to his “Storms” series. ▪️ #blackandwhitephotography #landscapephotography #stormphotography #monochrome #monochromatic #mitchdobrownerphotography #fineartphotography #stormchaser #bw #nature 🎵Sleepy Hollow - Martin Klem / courtesy of
