Operation Remembrance is a massive upcoming mod for EA's old Battlefield: Vietnam released in 2004. Operation Remembrance is created by Denal Douglas, a private mod-maker, and has been in the works for almost nine years. Operation Remembrance will be released in stages; the first version, 1.0, is planned for release by the end of fall or early winter 2021. It will add approximately eight new maps along with several dozen new small arms, weapons emplacements, aircraft, land vehicles, and naval vessels. Future versions will add further weapons, vehicles, and maps; as of right now, the ANZAC faction is planned for release with version 1.1. Operation Remembrance uses elements of Battlefield 1942 and the official BfV WW2 mod, along with several other fan-made mods, including “BfV: Arsenal“, “BfV: Point of Existence“, “Battlegroup Vietnam“, “Bf1942: Forgotten Hope“, and “Bf1942: Forgotten Hope Secret Weapons“.
