Thousands march against President Marcos in the Philippines ahead of SONA address

Locals marched in Quezon City, in the Philippines, to protest against President Ferdinand Marcos, Jr.’s administration ahead of his State of the Nation Address (SONA). Demonstrators destroyed effigies of Marcos and Vice President Sara Duterte during the rally. Police officers then prevented the crowds from approaching the Batasan Complex, where the president delivered his speech.
