As forecasted on the triple point, in Central TX, a storm fired in the early afternoon of 4-28-23. This storm immediately took on supercell characteristics. Within 30 minutes, this supercell was severe warned and was exhibiting strong mid-level rotation. Low-level rotation quickly wrapped up and a radar confirmed tornado warning was issued. The storm cycled at least twice and produced multiple funnel clouds and at least two tornadoes. As the semi-discrete supercell continued to move SE, radar confirmed a possibly strong tornado wrapped within the rain and large hail. Multiple trees were snapped, some larger than 6“. Vehicles and property received storm related damage. Unknown injuries.
