Black Mesa | RTX 2070 EVGA TEST GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q is going to do great at 1440p. We can see that in Ultra 1440p we will avg around 52 FPS. At High setting it gets 73FPS, but it is also capable of bumping up to 4K in High settings. 4K High will return 43 FPS or 4K Medium gets 64 FPS. Converting this into a cost per FPS we are looking at $0 on High settings and $0 at Medium. To summarise, we feel that with the GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q you can enjoy Black Mesa at 1440p resolution pretty comfortably. The graphics card is going to run smoother on High 1440p rather than Ultra, where it would be getting 52 FPS. But when run on 1440p High it would get 73 FPS, and at Medium 108 FPS and then on Low it would return 137 FPS. The GeForce RTX 2070 Max-Q would also be good at 1080p Ultra, getting 68 FPS.
