PVP Live: King's Row, one of Overwatch's oldest maps, is getting a facelift on the Overwatch PTR. Colors are brighter, and visibility, in general, seems to be improved upon the live version. These changes were first pointed out on Reddit, and were made without note by Blizzard when the PTR updated. Blizzard acknowledged the changes on the forums, with Principal Level Designer Dave Adams stating: “London was one of the earliest maps and some of the tech we use to build maps and optimize for performance has evolved. Some aspects of the art and lighting were updated to bring it in line with the newer maps and make it easier to make updates and changes in the future.“ Players in the Blizzard forums have noted that the changes make King's Row appear to be far too warm and inviting, as compared with the dreary London setting they are used to.
