Rembrandt Harmenszoon van Rijn, born in 1606 as a miller’s son, changed the world of painting like no other. But who was this baroque genius Rembrandt who enchanted people through the centuries? His biography is riddled with strokes of fate and family perplexities, and when the art titan Rembrandt died at the age of 63, he was a lonely, impoverished, and misunderstood outlaw.
