Why Critical Race Theorists want a return to segregated schools

A major strand of Critical Race Theory, which is hugely influential in the field of anti-racism, is that separate development for African-Americans living in the United States is a desirable course of action. This would entail schools with only black pupils; segregation, in other words. Experiments of the kind in Britain have not been encouraging.
