Rocks and deadwood are basically all that is needed to build a protective shelter in the wild. I found this rubble on a mountain, which provided the suitable material for the walls. The whole construction is free of synthetic material. The nails and dowels are also made of wood. The roof is mostly waterproof, altough the shingles are a bit twisted due to a light vortex grwoth of the tree I used to split them. It will take a few months until they flat out by their own, due to the interaction of rain, drying, the weight of the rocks and the mass of snow on top. In the 2nd part I will finish the interior and the stove. Please leave a comment for suggestions and wishes. Have fun watching!
