This is my concept of a John Lewis Xmas advert The inspiration of which was listening to an amazing cover of tomorrow by Hannah Grace on Spotify. the song is absolutely amazing and gives a brilliant mix of quiet desperation but hope which led me to want to create this video as I felt the song would be perfect for such an advert. The theme of the video is around a collection of fathers and sons in preparation for Christmas. The children, excited about the prospect of Christmas and the father's ,struggling under the weight of rising costs to provide the Christmas they feel their children deserve. We then see them working hard to provide that special Christmas morning. However, in the end, this child's small gift of a token present makes the father realize the most important thing is the love between a family at Christmas and leads to the tagline that the smallest things can be the most precious to us. The images were all generated via midjourney and as a very amateur at generative art this is my first attempt to blend a series of images to tell a story. I hope you enjoy and full credit to Hannah Grace's cover of this song, it truly moved me and full links to her music and this song are below Hannah Grace - Tomorrow Instagram
