“This is a modern version - and only too true in many beauty spots. The “Caravans“ are frequently cars - “ M/S of two cars moving towards the camera. Two large families climb out of the car and walk through a field to a picnic spot. They set out their picnic. Good shots of upper class folk having fun. C/U of wind up gramophone. Some of the group dance together. The men wear plus fours. They dance in amongst the picnic things. The group pick up their blankets and picnic baskets and leave lots of rubbish behind them. “Such a lovely day my dear - and the place was beautiful! (until they left it).“ The wind blows some of the litter around. C/U of a sign. “Penalty £. Persons leaving litter will be prosecuted.“ A policeman stands by the litter and beckons the naughty holiday makers back to the site of their picnic. He stands with his hands on his hips as they approach. He points to the rubbish and then to the sign. They begin to pick up the litter whilst the policeman watches. They
