The International Downhill Federation comes to Killington, Vermont for what is considered the fastest course on the tour. Reaching speeds of over 70 mph, racers have to navigate potholes, gaping cracks, blind corners and each other. Among the top competitors in the open division is Emily Pross, who has been climbing the ranks in a bracket, and a sport, of almost all men. Pross has been fine-tuning her strategy and skills competing against the men, but in order to podium here at Killington she’ll have to beat out the best downhill riders in the world.
