Deception Island On our third stop we planned to visit Deception Island. Due to the strong winds we only set foot on the island at the end of the day. It’s a volcanic island; with a thin fresh layer of snow and the dusk setting in this place had an eerie atmosphere. The video has a lot of (motorized) sailing, impressions from the now derelict whaling station and more Gentoo Penguins and Skuas.
