(8 Oct 1998) Natural Sound Palestinian leader Yasser Arafat arrived in Moscow on Thursday for talks with Russian President Boris Yeltsin. Arafat will meet with Russian President Boris Yeltsin, Prime Minister Yevgeny Primakov and a host of other senior Moscow officials. The Palestinian leader is expected to sign a series of bilateral agreements as well as brief the Russian leadership on the results of his 2-day meetings with Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu and U-S Secretary of State Albright. As Arafat's plane touched down in Moscow, Washington was reporting “significant progress“ in advance of next Thursday's Mideast summit in the U-S.
