Studying the newly-formed Paradise Pack (named after John Prine's wonderful song) from the day it formed has been a fascinating and satisfying experience for us, largely because intensively studying new packs in densely forested ecosystems, such as the Greater Voyageurs Ecosystem, is tough and often impossible. Luckily, with remote video cameras and GPS-collars that take locations every 20 minutes, we have learned a lot about this pack in a short time. We will share more updates about the pack when we get them. One thing we did not include in this video is the fact that we visit everywhere V077 and V085 spend more than 20 minutes in the same general area. We do this to find where they are making kills and understand their predation behavior. We have been doing this since April and will continue this until the end of October!
