Teaching Adults Course: Courses for teachers and directors in ELT: The way a child learns their mother tongue is different from the way an adult learns a second language. For instance, nearly all children learn their first language, but not everyone succeeds in learning to speak an L2. However, there are some similarities in how L1 and L2 are acquired. In this session, let us uncover the stages of development that learners go through, and apply this theory to our classroom practice for results that are slow yet sure.
