I just found film of a live 1965 performance by Natalia Makarova and Vitaly Onoshko of a pas de deux from 'Chopiniana', a Mikhail Fokine ballet, later called ‘Les Sylphides’ outside Russia. Tamara Karsavina called this plotless ballet ‘a romantic reverie’ and indeed it premiered in 1907 at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg as ‘Rêverie Romantique: Ballet sur la musique de Chopin’, the music having been orchestrated by Alexander Glazunov.
