Comedy routine from the revue “A to Z“ (although re-enacted outside rather than in the theatre). “Times were indeed stirring for Stefano. (George Carney)“ L/S of George Carney standing beside a little cart on wheels - presumably a mobile ice cream cart. The cart has faces painted on it. Jump cut to a closer shot of George. Fast motion of George stirring and scooping his ice cream. A short man comes up to the cart. “Ah wanta 'topper-up' guvnor.“ George gives him a scoop of ice cream. “Enter Bill - the Tough.“ A larger man enters the scene, a discussion ensues. “Ere wotjermean? I giv'yer 'arf a dollar.“ They have a little argument then Bill grabs the cash box and runs off, the short man gives chase. George spots a policeman. He explains what has happened. The policeman takes out his notebook and writes notes. C/U of George gesticulating. Expansive gestures and facial expressions. He counts off with his fingers and says: “De name is Stefano Peppino Giuseppe Marco Marcelina del Beppo.“
