Halvamazd (Homemade Nougat with Marshmallow) This is an easy recipe to make nougat candy with marshmallow. My recipe is low in saturated fat, and it provides instant energy with nutrients from nuts, dried fruits and milk powder. Ingredients 40g Plant sterols margarine (instead of butter) 200g Marshmallow 100g Skimmed milk powder 50g Almonds 50g Pumpkin seeds 50g Dried cranberries 50g Dates Method: 1. Chop dates. 2. Cut marshmallows into smaller sizes. 3. Bake almonds and pumpkin seeds at 160°C for about 10 minutes. 4. Place plant sterols margarine in a non-stick pan. Cook over low heat until it is melted. 5. Add marshmallows and stir until all the marshmallows have dissolved. 6. Add the milk powder and mix until smooth. 7. Turn off the heat. 8. Stir in all the nuts and dried fruits quickly until well combined. 9. Put the mixture on baking paper and press gently. 10. Refrigerate the nougat for at least 60 minutes.
