Hand Notes are a new Note type that enables the recording and playback of hand movement as an augmented reality digital object. This provides workers with a better understanding of precisely where their hands should be located for a specific task – helpful to address safety concerns. It also provides a good way to show movement and guide workers such as showing a valve turning or a slider moving. For many workers, watching hands perform a task or pointing to a location is easier to understand than an arrow or pointer. Some research suggests that it could even lower the cognitive load of users. We had many customer requests for this functionality, so we are pleased to be able to deliver this update.
