Invictus - W. E. Henley (Powerful Life Poetry)

Read by Shane Morris Music by Tony Anderson - One of the greatest poems ever written; Invictus is a rallying cry for those fighting hard times. After being diagnosed with tuberculosis, W. E. Henley wrote Invictus in hospital while undergoing treatment on his left leg, which was amputated from the knee down. He was still only a young man at that time and wrote the poem as a demonstration of his resilience in fighting the disease.
