Putin flirt President Xi's wife Peng Liyuan at APEC

Vladimir Putin hits on China's First Lady Peng Liyuan, Putin's chivalrous gesture rejected by first lady of China. Russian President Vladimir Putin caused a minor stir on Monday (November 10) after offering his shawl to the wife of Chinese President Xi Jinping at a fireworks display marking the APEC summit in Beijing. Recently divorced Putin was sitting next to Peng Liyuan, Xi's wife, during the fireworks display with Xi sitting on the other side of her. While Xi was deep in conversation with U.S. President Barrack Obama, Putin reached under his table and pulled out a shawl, which he draped on Peng's shoulders. It is unclear what Peng made of the gesture, but she swiftly removed the shawl and gave it to a nearby attendant before putting on her own black coat. Putin officially divorced his wife of more than 30 years in April, after announcing the pairs break up in June 2013
