You will see that one effect is most of the time the result of many different steps. So the final result of this tutorial is a ghost that is appearing and vanishing in the woods. But this is made up of the following: Shooting a master footage plate Shooting a clean-plate Shooting light references Setting up a studio for face capture as well as additional assets Creating a look out of real footage Adding cg and still images to create a monster or ghost Rendering Using the asset to drive some auxiliary animations such as electricity, glow and shine (godrays) As a bonus you will learn how to create an energy burst in 3 different ways.
