This is a remix of Giles Martin's 2022 mix of The Beatles' 1966 recording of “I'm Only Sleeping.“ Artificial Double Tracking (ADT) was heavily used in the recording of “Revolver,“ of which this song is a part. John's double-tracked vocal was originally processed with ADT and combined with hard left-to-right panning in the stereo field. Giles Martin did not modify this in his remix. My 2024 remix removes the ADT and centers the lead vocal, resulting in a tighter, more natural sound. Paul and George's background vocals retain the ADT treatment for contrast.
