Hey there, I'm Pedro Magalhães, and I'm beyond thrilled to be taking you guys on a tour of the exciting new CBDC project from the Central Bank of Brazil, implemented as an ERC20 token! I'll break it down for you as simply as possible. Firstly, the central bank is building a private blockchain using Hyperledger, which means not just anyone can connect. You need the bank's approval to be a node. One of the more captivating aspects is how the project is taking shape, through the GitHub repository they've made public. They provide an ABI, and I've managed to reverse-engineer using a file called ““. This is our ticket to understanding how the smart contract for the ERC20 token operates. Using reverse engineering, I managed to decode the behavior of the token and the libraries they're using, including some well-known ones like OpenZeppelin Contracts. This is a great move, as it assures us they're keen on making the contract as secure as possible. I've only managed to uncover the tip of the iceberg here, but it's already quite fascinating, right? So, stay tuned, and let's continue to explore this by watching the video together. ______ Welcome to my channel! 🚀 Don't forget to subscribe and hit the bell 🔔 to get notifications for new videos.
