Pocahontas: Dancing To The Wedding Drum

This was the original concept for introducing Pocahontas in the movie along with Kokoum. Notice how the lyrics were later changed and the song became “Steady As The Beating Drum“. Also take note of how Kokoum’s original character was more like a carbon copy of Gastone from “Beauty And The Beast“ than the quiet, constipated and stoic character he would become in later drafts.
