L/S of Scots Guards standing to attention, one holding the Union Jack lowers it slightly. M/S as James Brown walks over accompanied by officers, various shots as he inspects the Guards. M/S as he climbs out of the carriage accompanied by his wife (?). Intertitle - 'an alarming incident.' M/S of a horse out of control, its rider struggles to calm it down. James Brown has to run out of the way to avoid being kicked, but recovers his composure, goes back and salutes. L/S as he enters a building followed by other officials.
