Praying for the Thornton Police officer who was shot in the line of duty this morning. Colorado: A man is dead and an officer is injured after a shooting early Wednesday morning in Thornton. The shooting happened near West Thornton Parkway and Gale Boulevard, according to police. That's near West Thornton Parkway and North Pecos Street. The man was pronounced dead and the officer was taken to the hospital with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. No further details at this time. Source: Police frequency
