Volvo CE's prototype electric wheel loader and driverless hauler

Volvo CE's prototype hybrid-electric wheel loader, the LX1, which delivers 50% better fuel efficiency than a conventional unit, fills the HX1 driverless autonomous, battery-electric, four-wheeled hauler. (This video has been sped up in parts to reduce its overall run time. Both machines were driving slowly for the purposes of the demonstration, but the LX1 can in fact achieve significant speeds in its own right.)
