Today I am doing a simple project, but I have long wanted to make such coasters for hot mugs. An item in the kitchen is simply irreplaceable, it adds convenience, aesthetics and, in general, creates coziness in the house. Of course, I will do it together with the holder to make the stands look even nicer. I make stands from three types of wood, oak, beech and ash. Before opening, I glued two shields, one for the stands, and the other for the holder. Glued with pipe clamps and wood moisture-resistant glue. The size of the coasters was made 9 by 9 centimeters, this is a more convenient size for coasters. I cut the boards using my Black and Decker sawing machine and a homemade miter carriage. I decided to make the thickness of the coasters 8 millimeters, and I cut them to the required size using a planer. I round off the edges of the supports using a router and a radius cutter.
