To demonstrate the cruel humour that Spongebob began picking up, I put the Squidward’s toenail scene from House Fancy alongside the scene of a mature anime “Kill La Kill“ where Nui kills Ryuko’s father in episode 12. The way they matched up so well speaks volumes.
