Ingredients 175 grams of softened butter 175 grams of Light brown Sugar 3 Large Eggs 3 Heaped Tablespoons of Marmalade 25 grams of ground Almonds 225 grams of Self Raising flour Add 1 Heaped Teaspoon of ground Mixed Spice 400 grams of dried Mixed fruit 100 Grams of halved glazed Cherries 2 Tablespoons of Full fat milk Halved Almonds to decorate the cake Method In a Mixing bowl add the softened butter Add the Light brown sugar to to softened butter Whisk until creamy Add 3 Eggs one at a time and whisk each time you add an egg Add the 3 Tablespoons of Marmalade to the mixture and whisk to combine In a separate Bowl add 25 grams of sieved Ground Almonds Add 225 grams of sieved Self Raising flour Add 1 Heaped Teaspoon of ground all spice Mix well with a whisk Add half the wet Mixture to the dry mixture Combine well using a spatula folding in the wet and dry mixture together Add the remaining batter mixture Add the 400 grams of dried mixed fruit Mix well to combine Add the Glazed Cherries Add 2 Tablespoons of Full fat Milk or you can use the same using Whisky of choice In a Lined Cake tin pour the batter mix and gently tap the cake tin to level out the cake mixture Decorate the top of the cake mixture with Halved Almonds Bake in a preheated oven 140 c bake for 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours Do a toothpick test to make sure the cake is cooked throughout Allow to cool completely before serving ENJOY #dundeecake #howtomakedendeecake #easydundeecakerecipe. #andrewssimplecooking
