A playthrough of Nintendo's 1993 3D space shooter for the Super Nintendo, Star Fox, also known as Star Wing in Europe. I play through all of the main routes in this video: Level 1 1:07 Level 2 38:01 Level 3 1:14:03 Star Fox was one of those games that have so many memories attached to it for me, and given how fans still react to the series (despite it having arguably peaked by the second game), I'm not the only one. While it looks positively creaky by modern day standards, Star Fox was *the* game to get back in 1993 if you wanted to see what cutting edge game graphics looked like. Okay, well sure, the 3DO was around at that point, but how many people was a $700 CD system really an option for in 1993? For mere mortals that were playing on things like the SNES and the Sega Genesis, Star Fox was the dream. It was the next generation, today. It was actual real-time 3D on a cartridge!
